The Institute of Cancer Research launches its Cancer Sciences elearning site
July 2004
The pilot version of Perspectives in Oncology, the cancer science e-learning
website, is now online. The site is aimed primarily at new PhD students but is
available to any interested member of staff at The Institute of Cancer Research
and the Royal Marsden Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Preston PCT to use Medifile's Fuse Content management system

Preston PCT has procured Medifile to develop the Trust's Intranet using FUSE.
Fuse is Medifile's content management system that allows organisations full
control and development of their website or intranet.

Northern Cancer Network website wins First Prize
6 Novemeber 2003
The judges were impressed by its clear focus on real local needs. The
uncluttered interface was easy to navigate and they noted the option for a text
only version and the Plain English Award. Not only is the information
comprehensive in scope but this is one of the few sites which gives a clear
review protocol.
Representatives from the Northern Cancer Network and Macmillan attended the
award ceremony at BMA House, London, on 5th November 2003.
